Family Program & Drop-In

Play, connection and resiliency together on the land

Out to Play Family programs offers the Forest and Nature School experience for children of all ages and their trusted grown-ups.

This morning program includes play on the land, a hike out, circle and storytelling. These programs are offered both onsite at Out to Play Centre, and in Urban Wild Spaces locations across the city.

Family programs are open to children and their trusted grown-ups. We welcome children with their caregivers, foster families, grandparents, aunts, uncles and family friends. Caregivers will be supported in holding space for safe and kind play on the land.

Family program and drop-in proceeds go directly to broadening access to quality programming for more families in our Farm and Forest School Programs through our subsidy program.

To learn more about the Family Programs see the Urban Wild Spaces Family Program on the Registration page, and the Pay What You Can Drop-In’s shared on our Facebook page.
